Training

We offer training four days a week in the morning at Eldora Ski Resort which is about 30 minutes from Boulder, CO. Training is optional. Usually, we will have two days of slalom and two days of GS. Trainings generally run from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. This is a great way to improve your skiing and get some fresh air before class!

A Typical Race Weekend

Our races run Saturday to Sunday, with the team leaving Boulder on Friday afternoon and returning Sunday evening. The races are two days, and can vary from one day GS and the other SL or both being the same discipline. After our last run and the awards ceremony on Sunday, we leave straight from the ski hill to drive back to Boulder.

USCSA Regionals

Every season, the top 6 men and women on the team are chosen to race at the USCSA Regional Championships. In the past, we have traveled to Jackson Hole WM, Red Lodge MT, and Bogus Basin ID. This is a great opportunity to be able to represent our school and our team across the region as well as meet new people and ski at new places! Team members that have gone to regionals often say it’s one of the most fun weeks of skiing they’ve ever had.
